The PDO Fagioli Bianchi di Rotonda
The Fagioli Bianchi di Rotonda have been PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) since March 2011, entered in the European register by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 240/2011. They come from the Fagiolo Bianco and Tondino or Poverello Bianco ecotypes, and the production area covers several municipalities of the Mercure Valley, in the province of Potenza.
The Poverello bean is a typical product of the town that tells its own story: traditional farming, mountain land, flavour. A well-made online page, with recipes, pack sizes, prices and direct ordering, lets producers sell without relying only on middlemen. We build the store, the payments and the shipping, in Italian and in English, and set up the texts in line with the rules that protect the PDO name.
Home of the Pollino Park
The town stands at 580 metres, at the southern tip of the province of Potenza, in the heart of the Pollino National Park, whose headquarters it hosts. It borders Laino Borgo, Laino Castello, Morano Calabro, Mormanno and Viggianello.
If you welcome hikers, run guided tours or manage a mountain hut, a B&B or a restaurant, you need a clear online presence: where you are, what you offer, how to book, which seasons. With local SEO we work so that you appear when people search for where to sleep and eat in Pollino, not only in Rotonda.
The festivals, reaching people who are far away
The feast of the patron saint, Saint Anthony, lasts about fifteen days and peaks between 8 and 13 June. Places of interest include the Sanctuary of Santa Maria della Consolazione and the Mother Church. An up-to-date page with dates, programme and directions is useful to residents abroad, tourists and organisers.
