Santa Rosa, the Papal Palace and the medieval district
Every 3 September the Santa Rosa Machine is carried through Viterbo: 30 metres tall, weighing 52 quintals, carried on the shoulders of one hundred men, the Facchini di Santa Rosa. In 2013 it entered the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, as part of the Network of Italian Shoulder-Borne Great Machines. The Papal Palace, built between 1255 and 1266, houses the Conclave hall where Gregory X was elected, and the medieval San Pellegrino district, with almost intact walls, lies on the Via Francigena route.
If you welcome visitors, with hospitality, catering or guides, you need a clear, up-to-date page especially in the weeks before the September festival, when searches for places to stay increase.
Spas and students: two clienteles all year
The Bullicame is a hot sulphurous spring that feeds a thermal spa; the most historic baths are the Terme dei Papi. Viterbo is also home to the Tuscia University, established in 1979 as heir to the Free University of Tuscia active since 1969. If you offer wellness, rooms to rent, tutoring or services for students, you need a website that shows up when people search, with clear prices and availability.
The PDO Nocciola Romana: from the trees to the customer
The Nocciola Romana has been PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) since 2009, registered by Commission Regulation (EC) No 667/2009 of 22 July 2009; the production area includes many municipalities of the province of Viterbo, among them Viterbo, and some in the province of Rome. The permitted varieties are the Tonda Gentile Romana and the Nocchione.
For a grower, a website tells the story of the variety and the supply chain, shows fresh and processed products and sells online with payments and shipping. The PDO name is only used for certified product: we set up the texts following the rules.
